Melbourne City College Australia is a Registered Training Organisation delivering nationally recognised courses in Business, Leadership and Management, Commercial Cookery, Hospitality Management and Community Services as well as English language courses for domestic and international students.
We are a hard-working team full of dynamic personality and looking for an enthusiastic team member. We are currently looking for Commercial Cookery trainers/assessors to train Certificate III and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
About the role
We are currently looking for highly motivated Commercial Cookery and Individual Support (Aged Care) trainers/ assessors to join our friendly and hard-working team. Duties will include all aspects of training and preparation, resource development, student management, student assessments etc.
Selection Criteria for Commercial Cookery Trainers:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Qualification at least to the level being delivered and assessed (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is preferable)
- At least 3 years relevant industry working experience
- Must be able to provide evidence of industry currency
- Strong training and practical skills
- Training and assessment experience in the VET sector
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Must have continuous professional development records

- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- At least Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Relevant industry working experience
- Must be able to provide evidence of industry currency
- Strong training and practical skills
