Commercial Finance Manager – Cremorne
A highly reputable FMCG group are growing their established finance team by onboarding a Commercial Finance Manager to join their senior finance leadership team. This role will suit a strategic, analytical, and Commercial Finance professional.
The Commercial Finance Manager will drive the delivery of internal reporting and analysis from start to finish. The Commercial Finance Manager will build and maintain strong relationships across multiple disciplines, while looking to ensure continuous improvement of processes.
The role will have you responsible for approaching complex business planning challenges from different angles and balance the interests of different stakeholders.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
• Lead and build the development, implementation and ongoing delivery of internal reporting and analysis to drive better business decisions
• Lead and implement a fully integrated business planning model across the group.
• Sit as a part of the finance leadership team
• Lead monthly P&L reviews, trading updates, forecasting, and budgeting process
• Generate and provide business recommendations aligned to the growth platform based on robust analysis and insight
• Contribute to the strategic growth agenda, support the business in identifying and assessing opportunities for on-going growth
• Work with the business to identify key performance indicators, in accordance with the organisations’ strategy, and ensure uniformity of measures and definitions across relevant reports
• Identify and implement reporting process improvement that will ensure is a leader in reporting and analysis across the FMCG industry
• Provide regular financial modelling and analysis to support day-to-day operations and ad-hoc business requirements
• Collaborate with the business to understand their requirements and define reporting needs to identify opportunities that streamline and optimise current reporting and analysis output
• Drive improved outcomes on working capital (cash-flow) and cost across the business
• Relationship management with international entities through ownership of pricing model and portfolio
• Ensuring effective inventory management, material planning, production, and distribution planning activities to ensure that operations meet demand and to ensure the prompt resolution of Supply Chain exceptions through identification of gap closing actions
• Support new product developments/product deletion projects
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and implementing best practice Supply Planning processes and targets
• Oversee standard costing maintenance in SAP
• Support operations with understanding manufacturing overhead and plant productivity
• Support both the short term and strategic long term planning cycle
• Support SAP B1 ERP improvements and other IT related projects. Provide ad-hoc assistance to the business and professional advice on financial and operational matters
