Form of work ABOUT THE ROLE We have a newly created opportunity to join the growth engine of our Utilities business! We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and creative Commercial Manager to support our busy Power Projects business. The role will ideally be based in Melbourne/Sydney or Brisbane, where you will be able to leverage your expertise in creating value throughout the project lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on the pre-contract phase. Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to: Provide guidance on commercial issues, risks, challenges, and opportunities to contribute to decision-making. Provide recommendations for improving profits and evaluate the feasibility and suitability of business plans and capital expenditures. Assist in commercial support and contribute to bids and opportunities as needed. Lead negotiations with clients to align with Downer's contracting standards and build effective client relationships.
