Following the recent acquisition of a national Hospitality digital display network (c. 500 locations) and the continued expansion of our national sports and leisure display network we are looking for a Commercial Development Manager to join our growing, high-performing team.
Working with the COO and Commercial team you will lead the execution of commercial engagement & acquisition strategy being responsible for managing and developing our health, hospitality and sports & leisure venue partners and best-in-class DOOH display networks.
This will be a hybrid / field-based role with regular inter-state travel meeting existing and new potential partners to build strong ongoing relationships.
Key objectives of the role:
- Focal point for the successful day to day management of existing commercial partners. Build great and long-lasting relationships with our partners.
- Manage and execute the Commercial Engagement Strategy, communication, and marketing initiatives.
- Development and execution of new partner acquisition strategy in line with performance KPI’s. Lead partner engagements and presentations.
- Negotiation of new partner agreements and renewals delivering the best commercial outcomes.
- Reporting and insights on acquisition, relationship health to management
- Provide excellent service to all partners in each engagement
- Deeply understand our partners, their business needs and Motio’s products. Become a subject matter expert and guide Product Development to continuously improve partner experience and utility of Motio product.
- Support the launch and up-sell of new products to existing customers
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Experience working in a commercial or relationship management in the hospitality or related industry (preferable but not essential).
- Passion for delivering best-in-class customer service and creating positive customer relationships. Experience in executing customer communication and marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience & ability in developing new business and contract negotiation. Experience and passion to exceed performance KPI’s and targets.
- A people person with the ability & desire to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills strong customer-facing and presentation expertise.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Highly computer literate with significant experience across CRM
- Ability to lead and work autonomously to deliver business objectives
- Self-starter, energetic, adapt quickly, inquisitive and excited to work in a start-up environment
- Australian Driver’s license & the ability to travel interstate regularly
