The role
We are looking for a self-motivated and driven Commercial Manager who will be able to hit the ground running and own a number of critical commercial processes as well as supporting a range of exciting growth initiatives across the business. The role is part of our expanding Strategy & Growth Team, and will report to our Head of Strategy & Go-to-Market. It will involve working on initiatives that provide you with exposure to a range of areas within the business, including; strategy, sales, marketing, operations, product and compliance.
This is a full time position, ideally based in Sydney as its a hybrid role. Unfortunately we are unable to support visa sponsorship for this role, so you will require full Australian work rights.

What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Initiatives - Support strategic and growth initiatives as required across the organisation, e.g. capital raises, international expansion, operating model design, etc
- Market Scanning & Sensing - Monitor and report on market trends, including competitor analysis, to uncover opportunities for expansion into new areas, or respond to competitive threats
- Business Case Development - Support business case preparation and commercial advice (pricing, financial modelling (NPV and IRR), etc) of commercial constructs for new and existing products
- Process Design & Transformation - Lead business process reviews across the organisation ( sales, marketing, compliance, operations, etc) to identify and implement improvement plans across the customer lifecycle
- Special Customer Programs - Support the integration of activity across the business to support the design and execution of key customer programs
- Performance Reporting - Own the end-to-end business performance reporting and growth forecasting framework, including target setting, reporting, insights generation and improvement recommendations
Desired Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications - Undergraduate or Graduate degree with a record of high academic achievement in Business, Finance, Commerce, Statistics, etc
- 4+ years experience in a fast paced commercial environment such as; Corporate Strategy, Growth, Finance/Banking, Sales Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing Operations, Venture Building, Customer Insight, etc
- Some experience in Strategy Consulting, or Corporate Financial Advisory will be looked upon favorably
- Experience working with CRM platforms (ideally Hubspot), insight tools (ideally Tableau) and accounting platforms
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including experience building complex multi-scenario financial models

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to flex styles based on the situation
