Nichols Crowder is the leading commercial and industrial agency in Melbourne's South East. We are looking for an experienced commercial Trust Accountant to fill this exciting role at our Carrum Downs office.
Duties Include :
All aspects of Trust Accounting including but not limited to
- Daily receipting
- Entering creditor invoices such council/ water etc. and scanning invoices
- Processing Landlord Payments / Statements
- Issuing Tenant Tax Invoices
- Creditor Payments
- Credit Card Transactions
- Follow up on unpresented cheques
- Preparing Final accounts and Incoming Accounts
- Receipting of Sales Deposits and processing account sales
- Preparing EOFY statements for landlords
- Preparing annual Budgeted outgoings for retail tenants
- Reconciliations with rent / payment disputes
- Management of GOAT database
- Liaising with GOAT database when required for any issues
- Disbursing bond refunds to tenants
- General client assistance and team support with any financial issues
- Problem solving with accounts issues
- Cross training accounts staff
- Build processes and procedures within the accounts department for Property Management / Sales and Leasing
- Daily reconciliation of Rental and Sales Trust Accounts
- Manage BPay EFT and Cheque payments
- Answer queries from landlords and tenants
- EOM reconciliations for Rental and Sales Trust Accounts, including rollover in GOAT and producing EOM reporting as required by legislation
- Arrange and support annual Trust Account audit
- Manage bonds at Macquarie bank, including submitting and retrieving
- Skills And Experience
- RP Office or GOAT an advantage
- MYOB
- Attention to detail
- Previous commercial experience
The role is a full time position from Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
