Job description
The Kitchen team at the Metropolitan Hotel are seeking a qualified commis chef to come join our team.
We are a Modern Australian Gastro Pub, Located in the heart of Melbourne's Law Precinct on Willam Street. Newly renovated in may last year this modern contempoary pub is fast picking up in popularity
For consideration for this role you will need the folloing skill set:
#Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
#Must be clean and tidy at all times
#Must be punctual for work.
#Must have trade qualifications and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar cuisine.
We are opened Monday to Saturdays. Lunch 12pm till 3pm, and Dinner 4pm till 9pm.
Full time hours will be minimum 38 to maximum 42 hours. Salary is with in line of HIGA Awards
Every Sunday off and one other through out the week. 1 hour break from 3 to 4pm everyday on days that doubles are worked.
You will report to the head chef daily and be able to follow company policies and prodcedures.
