As part of our Adelaide Service Delivery alliance partnership with SA Water to improve outcomes for its customers, our Production & Treatment (P&T) workforce is responsible for operating and maintaining five water treatment plans and five wastewater treatment plants that deliver services to the Adelaide Metropolitan regions.
Working together in partnership with SA Water as one brand and one team, our embedded P&T Alliance team will enable a safe and engaged workforce to meet SA Water’s customer service targets and regulated responsibilities at the lowest sustainable cost for Adelaide customers. With improved integration across the SA Water organisation sought, effective collaboration and interaction is critical.

Our Opportunity

With a keen eye for detail and ability to capture impactful interactions and showcase connections, you will primarily focus on communication planning and advice, content creation and promotion to boost people engagement and build connections with our team culture and values.
Your primary duties will include:
Communications:
- Leading the development, implementation, and periodic review of the communications strategy and associated business plans, entailing the creation, review, and refinement of various business materials, presentations, reports, and contractual documents as necessary.
- Actively supporting initiatives and projects, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration.
- Generating and coordinating compelling content, while ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery of communications.
- Building capabilities and promoting understanding across the business in storytelling, evolution, and people focused leadership.
- Monitoring communication methods and practices, soliciting feedback to pinpoint improvement opportunities and best practices.
- Identifying and coordinating opportunities for content creation, publication, and dissemination as they arise, while promoting coherent utilisation of communication tools by managers and supervisors to facilitate effective team communication.
- Collaborating with critical stakeholders on communication-related matters to build our profile and ensure alignment with business objectives and stability.
- Leading and/or participating in culture and engagement initiatives to foster a positive and engaged workplace environment.
- Measuring the impact of our communication channels and methods, producing data insights to maximise improvement opportunities and inform future strategy.
Change Management:
- Establishing a comprehensive Change Management framework across the Alliance to ensure readiness for and sustainability of business evolution.
- Delivering structured support to change management activities, ensuring consistency in processes and tools.
- Supporting change leadership capability providing coaching and guidance.
- Monitor tool/process utilisation to support effective team leadership during change.
We are seeking
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications or equivalent experience preferred.
- Someone who enjoys story sharing/development, coordinating work plans to support initiatives/programs across a geographically dispersed work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, encompassing the art of writing, editing, proofreading, and delivering impactful messages.
- Professional communication in written and verbal, coupled with genuine stakeholder management, networking, and cultivating robust relationships.
- Ability to maintain seamless connection with diverse audiences spanning across Adelaide metropolitan region.
- Proficiency in curating and refining digital content, ensuring its relevance and resonance in the digital landscape.
- Well versed in various creative software and systems and have a knack to swiftly implement creative tools as needed.
- Ability to locally visit SA Water sites in metropolitan Adelaide (as required).
- Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating best-practice effective communication and branding engagement campaigns.
