We're looking for an experienced Communications Officer with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality and creative communications . You'll need to be a strong writer with excellent attention to detail, and with a background in managing social media channels.
You'll support the development and delivery of highly effective and targeted communication and digital marketing services and strategies for a broad range of exciting projects in the department.
In this role you will:
- Take responsibility, as directed, for the implementation of communications campaigns and strategies for a range of department programs and projects, within budget and established timeframes.
- Write, proof and produce relevant pieces of collateral, and create messaging for a variety of audiences, required as part of these campaigns and strategies.
- Manage a variety of communications tasks for various projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, reporting and corporate priorities are met.
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment where we have a strong focus on delivering excellent communications outcomes.
- Lead and role model customer-focused behaviour by delivering the highest standard of service to our customers.
- Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders including business teams across the department, and external stakeholders.
- Work in partnership with the team leaders to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations.
- Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential within the department.
- Contribute to our collaborative, consultative and outcome focused team culture that is responsive to customer feedback and needs.
