An exciting opportunity exists for a Communications Advisor to join the Portfolio Communications Team, within the Victoria School Building Authority (VSBA).
The high performing team actively support and promote the VSBA' s role in designing and constructing new schools and early childhood centres as well as modernising and upgrading existing ones.
The team works across five priority portfolios of School Upgrades, New Schools, Early Childhood Infrastructure, Operations and Programs and Education Plans.
The Role
Reporting to the Portfolio Communications Manager, the Communications Adviser is responsible for managing communications activities across a significant school and early childhood infrastructure program.
As the Communications Adviser you will support the development and delivery of communication plans. You'll draw on your experience working in complex organisations to write clear and engaging materials for audiences through a range of channels.
Building and maintaining relationships will be key to your success in this role, as you'll work across the organisation to align messaging. You are proactive and possess the expertise to think strategically, evaluate outcomes, and manage approvals.
The candidate will need to be resilient, flexible and adaptable to change.
