In the role of Communications Advisor for Stakeholder and Issues Management, you will provide high level communication services to technical and professional staff for ministerial and executive correspondence, issues management, stakeholder relationship management, media relations, public affairs and community engagement and advise on, develop and implement communication strategies to ensure effective communication outcomes for North Coast Region.

- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Requirements of the role:
- Experience in ministerial and executive correspondence management to develop and tailor materials with customer-focused outcomes in an environment dealing with infrastructure.
- Effectively apply knowledge of issues and reputation management and provide well considered advice to establish and maintain mutual understanding between the department and its customers.
- High level understanding of media, government and regional operations to manage and develop media responses to enhance the department's reputation.
- Aptitude for adjusting to evolving environments and changing expectations.
- A degree in communications, journalism or public relations would be highly desirable
