Who are we?
The Construction Training Fund is a small team responsible for administration of a levy on all building and construction works in Western Australia. We use this levy to assist in a skilled workforce by funding training and programs for apprentices, trainees and their employers in the building and construction industry.
Our newly built modern offices are based in Belmont with ample free parking onsite.

Job Description
The Communications and Marketing officer is responsible for ensuring the implementation of a range of strategies to increase awareness of the CTF its strategic initiatives and brand. The role coordinates SEO activity; manages CTF’s owned channels including website and social media, supports campaign activity and implements CTF sponsorship programs.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated ability to write for a range of audiences, styles and formats, including the ability to generate accurate, concise copy, proof-read and edit.
- Well developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with demonstrated capacity to work constructively with individuals and within a team environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to use a range of social media and digital communications platforms to effectively deliver key messages to target groups.
- Well developed research, investigation and analytical skills.
- Well developed organisational skills and the capacity to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
Desirable
- Experience within a journalism and/or broadcast media environment.
- Experience in photography and/or with software for creating publication-ready photographs.
