We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of our Marketing & Communications Strategy. The Communications Coordinator at Spectrum will play an important role in raising awareness of Spectrum’s brand, services, and programs, and promoting inclusion and belonging.
The role will be multi-faceted â developing compelling content for Spectrum’s website, social media, and e-newsletters while also supporting overall external communications across other platforms and channels. You will be excited by the power of storytelling and be committed to a digital first approach, to amplify client voices and grow our online communities.
This is an outstanding opportunity to build your career, while working for an organisation that is doing some amazing work with, and for, people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. The position is a 2 year fixed term.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- 1+ year of demonstrated digital communication experience, or are a recent graduate with awesome digital skills
- A working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, eg Google Analytics, WordPress, social media platforms, graphic design software
- Excellent communication skills and fantastic story telling ability
- A passion for the community care sector

Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre Ltd (Spectrum) is a not-for-profit organisation, delivering culturally appropriate and responsive services to people with migrant and refugee backgrounds predominantly living in the Northwest Metropolitan region of Melbourne. Our service areas include migration and settlement, family relationship and parenting, social and economic inclusion, aged care, disability, and family carers.
