- $77,260 to $90,738 + 11% Super + Flexitime
Reporting to the Coordinator Place Activation & Communication and working collaboratively across Council, you will develop and deliver a range of communication, engagement and place management related activities to encourage residents, businesses and the wider community to engage with Council and promote the Burwood LGA.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the delivery of engagement activities and implementation of key place-making strategies in line with organisational priorities.
- Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement projects and building ongoing relationships and partnerships with local, digital, multicultural and business communities.
- Assisting in the development of plans and negotiations with private and public sectors in relation to business and community initiatives.
- Preparing and distributing multimedia marketing materials including but not limited to social media campaigns, videos, flyers, media releases and newsletters.
- Undertaking research and preparing reports, plans and strategies in a timely manner.
- Providing accurate, timely, professional guidance and advice to the Coordinator Communications and Engagement and Executive Manager Place Management and Communication, as required.
A second language is also highly desirable.
