The role sits within Evangelisation Brisbane, the Archdiocesan Agency tasked with the Archdiocese’s core business of the mission of the Church. Evangelisation Brisbane draws strongly from Evangelii Gaudium, the Joy of the Gospel, in the development of all planning and works from the Evangelisation Brisbane Strategic Plan 2020-2024. ABOUT THE ROLE
Our team is looking for a Communications Manager to lead and manage communication strategies to maximise the influence and reach of Evangelisation Brisbane.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with Evangelisation Brisbane teams to create and implement event and project communications plans
- Manage the presence of Evangelisation Brisbane on all relevant social media platforms and website platforms
- Liaise with content creators and manage our internal graphic designer to ensure the quality of all text and image communication
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, design, communications or similar (desirable)
- Proven experience with traditional and new media
- Significant understanding and experience in the use of social media platforms
- Sound website development skills, particularly using the Wordpress content management system
- Sound photography skills (desirable)
- Experience with or adaptability in learning to use marketing-related tools (e.g. MailChimp, Google Analytics, CRM’s)
- High level of organisation skills and an ability to manage projects and timelines
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
