Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a pivotal role working within a team of 3 leading the PR and Communications for a well-known international brand.
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, from maintaining the brand's reputation to providing guidance to the sales team, value-driven communication both internally and externally, crisis management, and a strong focus on media monitoring. This is a strategic and hands-on role, which will also include some administrative aspects.
As the Communications Manager - Retail you will ultimately be responsible for:
- Working with the brand team ensuring consistency of messages, tone and strategy across both internal and external communications.
- Developing proactive and strategic PR campaigns, ensuring brand elevation, consumer engagement and positioning in market.
- Develop a proactive PR plan for positioning the brand in line with the company's long-term vision.
- Foster existing and identify new relationships with external agencies and the media that will ultimately support the growth of the brand.

Candidate Profile
Communication Managers looking to apply for this role must be able to demonstrate the following in their application:
- Degree in PR our journalism.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience working within consumer, FMCG, agency or luxury brand environment.
- Previous experience working for a large brand and well-known products.
- Media connections within the consumer space.
- Ability to work under pressure and think autonomously.
- Superior writing skills.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
