ACH Group has an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Marketing Communications team.
This is a full-time role is a hands-on but strategic role based in Mile End. The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing innovative, engaging and purposeful multi-channel content and communications to our internal and external audiences across South Australia.
The Communications Specialist is pivotal in the effective and timely communication and is central to promoting ACH Group's services and enhancing brand presence to promote our good lives promise.
This role reports to the Head of Brand and Customer Experience.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to convey ACH Group messages to both internal and external audiences.
- Provide communications for customer and stakeholder newsletters and presentation.
- Lead the development of the customer communication strategy.
- Lead and develop communications from the ACH Group Executive and Board Members
- Write speech notes and prepare presentations for Executive and Board Members
- Support the Brand and Customer Experience Team by providing copywriting guidance for the development of marketing collateral and other owned and paid channels
- Prepare external award submissions
- Manage the publication of ACH Group's Customer Magazine.
- Identify and pitch news-worthy content for positive publicity and repurpose for owned channels.
- Offer advice and expertise on enquiries from media
- Develop and implement communications strategies that respond to complex/ and or sensitive issues, providing expert messaging advice
- Build relationships with stakeholders, such as media contracts, community organisations and industry leaders
- Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation with others in the sector
- Analysis of marketing metrics and performance data to make market-driven decisions.
About you:
- You will be a dynamic, passionate, self-motivated individual with a positive and hands-on approach, who enjoys working in a high performing culture
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in at least one area of Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years in a similar position
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high quality outputs.
- Demonstrated experience in leading communications projects.
- Strong and confident verbal communication skills
- Exceptional professional writing skills
- Articulate, strategic thinker, results orientated combined with strong attention to detail
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience effectively engaging with a wide variety of audiences
- An understanding and experience of digital media, including intranet, SharePoint, video and visual communications would be highly regarded
- A satisfactory police clearance for working with vulnerable people that is less than 12 months old before commencement

ACH Group is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector.
