Job description:
Assist in the development and delivery of communications activities across a variety of channels for the State Roads Division. Provide broad support for State Roads Division communications and stakeholder engagement activities

We are looking for a Support Officer to join our fast-paced and supportive Communications team.
The Communications Support Officer is the lynchpin of our team, providing support to the broader Stakeholder Communications Branch through reporting on our communications activity, inbox management, process development and training, management of the divisional Roadworks list and Ministerial correspondence workflow, and other communications and customer service activities as required.
This support role would best suit someone who is organised and detail oriented, and is looking to start their career in communications within a public sector environment. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, who embodies our values and collaborates well within a team.
The Communications team supports the work of the State Roads Division within the Department of State Growth. The State Roads Division is responsible for maintenance, planning and upgrades on the 3 700 km State road network.
Desirable Requirements
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
