About our opportunityOur Community Development team are looking to fill this integral role in their leadership team.You'll coach and develop a community-minded team who are passionate about strengthening our communities. The team will look to you for your expert advice on complex social issues, including homelessness, Community Safety and domestic and family violence prevention, as well as navigating the complexities of a large government organisation.Reporting directly to the Coordinator, Community Development, you will play a key part in supporting the growth of the region, through the development of various Community Development programs and initiatives, as well as the new Public Space Liaison program. This will be achieved through effective collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to Homelessness and Community Safety and alignment to our andAbout youWe are seeking a strong and capable leader who has significant experience working in, or in collaboration with local government, and facilitating responses to homelessness, family and domestic violence prevention and/or Community Safety matters.As a passionate people person, you will enjoy leading, coaching and developing a team to achieve positive community change.
