About the Role
The Barwon Health Community Electronic Medical Record (EMR) project will establish an integrated EMR across Barwon Health Community Services, including Information and Access Service, Community Nursing, Hospital in the Home and HITH Cancer, Hospital Admission Risk Program, Carer Support, Social Support, Healthlinks, Remote Patient Monitoring, Post-Acute Care and Mental Health Drugs and Alcohol Services Continuing Care Services. No acute services are included in the scope of this project.
The Community EMR Educator will work alongside the project team and System Administrators, utilising the prepared Community EMR Training Needs Analysis. This position will lead provision of education and training activities for Barwon Health workforces, supporting effective implementation of the Community EMR.
Training activities and deliverables will include:
- Development of learning content, including e-learning modules
- Development of quick reference guides and other learning resources
- Classroom and virtual Train the Trainer (TTT)
- Clinician end user training
- Other learning and development duties as required
