We offer the full range of nbn products including Fibre, Fixed Wireless and Satellite services. This hybrid role will involve a mix of Working from Home as well as from our office.
We have 3 Vacancies for a Community Engagement Officer, in this role you will work as part of the Field Services Delivery Team, working closely with and assisting the Field Services Manager & Business Services Manager. The role encompasses working in and with Remote First Nations Communities.
You will be professional with excellent communications skills and will provide a level of assistance appropriate for the Community and the local authorities.

- Primarily focused and responsible for completing activities onsite as part of a Project Delivery Field team,
- Undertake Community consultations with relevant Communities and community members. This may require remote work from the home/office in preparation prior to being onsite.
- Be the primary point of contact for the community members and Project team.
- Support the Field Services Team Lead ensuring they delivery on their requirements including they are following QHSE and Quality Assurance processes.
- Undertake and complete activities listed below in accordance with our processes and instructions:
- Planning
- Validation
- Collection of forms which may include consent, approvals.
- Training/Education to Community Members and Onsite approved Community Liaison Officer/s and distribution materials
- Attend/conduct meetings as defined by the Project Manager
- Obtain project signoff and testimonials.
- Assist in onboarding of local Community Liaison Officer/s
- Ensure Field Service team abide by the regulations of Remote First Nations Community restrictions such as alcohol (bring in, buy or sell), restricted area access or interfere with specific request.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Field Services activities related qualifications such as heavy vehicle license are highly desired.
- Experience working in in or with First Nations Communities or Organisations.
- A demonstrated in-depth understanding of how to effectively communicate with First Nation Communities
- An understanding of Remote First Nations Communities cultures
