Working directly with CanToo’s Head of Marketing and Fundraising, this role will transform the way we engage and motivate our mighty orange CanToo community, creating exciting opportunities for aspirational fundraisers to be instrumental in both the organisation and your own personal growth. CanToo wants you to flourish, by bringing your skills, expertise, and energy to grow participation and fundraising for our unique fitness programs, so that we can support more groundbreaking cancer research projects.
We are now seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to engage the current and future CanToo community of participants, supporters, donors, and sponsors to meet and exceed CanToo’s yearly targets on acquisition, participation, retention, and fundraising. You will do this through developing and delivering a multi-channel engagement campaign, working closely with the CanToo programs team and our agency network, to provide an optimal CanToo program experience.
About us
Every year, thousands of ordinary people put their perceived limitations behind them by taking part in exciting CanToo fitness programs, participating in boundary-pushing events, redefining their impossible, making new friends and helping fund vital early-career cancer research.
It’s the 3 C’s that make CanToo so special: Coaching, Community and Cause
No other model gives participants pro coaching, an amazing community of people to achieve their goal with, and the satisfaction of funding brilliant new solutions to the devastating problem of cancer.
Through our participant and supporter fundraising, CanToo provides research grants on all types of cancers supporting the work of early career cancer researchers setting them up for success in their future careers. Australia loses the skills, passion, and ideas of too many brilliant researchers because of lack of funding. CanToo Foundation does not want people with cancer to miss out on potential new treatments or cures because a breakthrough idea wasn’t given the support it deserved.
