- Advanced communication skills, including effective interpersonal, stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills and advanced writing skills with an ability to draft high quality correspondence and reports.
- Proven capability to establish and nurture productive and collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Western Sydney Local Health District staff, local residents, businesses, community representatives, local government officers, and state government agencies.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and creating positive media opportunities for healthcare services and facilities, with a strong focus on aligning key messages with organisational priorities.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering key messages to a broad range of target audiences and channels, including online and digital platforms, social media, publications, media activities, and presentations. The ability to translate technical and complex information into easily understandable content.
- Proficiency in assisting in the preparation of executive and ministerial correspondence, including event briefs, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with a proven capacity to self-organise and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Must hold a NSW provisional drivers license.
