Your team

Your role will sit within the People Experience team.

Our mission is to partner with x15 and our ventures, enabling them with access to exceptional talent, people tools and resources to win as a venture and supercharge their experience as members of the x15 community.

The opportunity

This role is designed to help people access the advantages of x15ventures. As a bit of a startup ourselves, we're forging a path that's distinct from our CommBank parents and our VC peers. Our culture is norming, forming and at times, storming. Our Community Experience Manager sits at the intersection of People Experience and Community building. The right person will play an integral role in embedding and evolving the x15 Community internally, investing in our culture, and driving engagement amongst our people to do their best work.

The x15 People Experience team is focused on how we attract, secure, develop and retain the best talent to our ventures and core teams. This role will magnetise and engage our community in the rituals, rhythms and programs we offer. You'll be a key cultural force and a super connector - building the internal community vibe amongst ventures (existing and prospective) and our core team and maximising the network effects of our unique model.

Day to day you will:

  • Partner with relevant team members to drive and host internal initiatives and some external events from planning and design through to project management and execution.
  • Manage Internal team communications across our internal channels
  • Actively identify and implement creative ways to strengthen relationships across x15, our Ventures and CBA stakeholders - reinforcing the x15 narrative.
  • In close collaboration with the Brand Team, act as the Marketing SME for People Experience to help deliver on-brand and engaging employee experience initiatives
  • Lead the way forward in terms of social structures and knowledge sharing - create rituals and play a leading role in connecting people across x15 and ventures
  • You will champion culture at x15ventures and work closely with the People Experience team to drive initiatives that will support employee engagement and employee experience.

  • You set the bar high with exceptional attention to detail - you're able to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience driving employee engagement, team collaboration, and culture initiatives.
  • Event planning, production and management experience is essential.
  • Experience in marketing and social media, ideally in relation to employer branding
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and find a way
  • Great written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • A growth mindset - a love of learning, comfort with being scrappy and a bias to action.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and constant change and enjoy creating order out of unstructured challenges.
  • A real team player who enjoys collaborating and brings the fun!
