Legacy is looking for a Community Fundraising and Events Executive (Golf). This role is responsible for generating revenue through our very popular Legacy charity golf days. This role will also nurture and grow these golf events and other sports fundraising initiatives such as Bowls Days.
The Community Fundraising and Events Executive will be part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Team and is based at our office in Sydney. The role is on a permanent full-time basis and will involve travel within the Sydney metropolitan region and may also include some travel to support events and Legacy Clubs in regional areas.

Essential requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.
- A passion for golf and other sports.
Highly regarded:
- Previous experience in Community Fundraising, event coordination, or sports management is desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
- Sound knowledge or past experience working for non-profit organisations.
- A commitment to learn traditional and non-traditional fundraising models.
