We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Health Service Managerto lead Macedon Ranges Health Centre in Gisborne. Our modern, light filled facility is located a 40 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD and is a quick, picturesque commute from the Western suburbs.
As a Community Health Service Manager at MRH you will provide leadership to our dedicated, friendly team who are delivering integrated, evidence based care to individuals and families. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager you will have responsibility for clinical governance at an organisational level; management of service development; day to day management of the Health Centre within a framework of strong financial and human resource management.
Your day to day activities include:
- Lead the Primary Care, (including physiotherapists, podiatrists, mental health practitioners and occupational therapists) Health Promotion and Social Support teams to deliver high quality integrated care and activities to the Macedon Ranges community.
- Oversee, develop and implement program and system improvements and clinical risk initiatives in line with Benetas’ Quality and Clinical Governance Frameworks
- Support the delivery of holistic approach to goal directed care planning
- Increase access through active promotion of our suite of services through professional networks and the local community
To thrive in the role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related clinical field such as Nursing or Allied Health.
- Possess a valid and current AHPRA registration
- Knowledge and or training in Health Promotion principles and practices.
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Management (or working towards) is desirable
- Significant experience in Community Health Services or health management preferably at a senior level
- Exceptional leadership and management skills with a commitment to drive a high performance culture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience in active listening,
- Experience in working within a framework of culturally inclusive practices
- Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Ability to collaborate and network in partnership arrangements
- Excellent planning, reporting and time management skills
