PRIMARY OBJECTIVES- Monitor and control the Accounts receivable function.
- Ensure delivery of the function's KPIs and efficient and effective management of resources
- Ensure efficient and effective collection of revenue including overdue RADs and fees.
- Perform end-to-end design of processes that ensure the maximisation of revenue collected and employment of practices to prevent revenue leakage.
- Operate as a subject matter expert in government funding, customer contributions and debt collection activities.
- Establish and develop effective relationships with internal and external team members, service providers and clients.
About youYou are a self-motivated individual, highly organised and able to meet deadlines with an eye for detail. You have knowledge of aged care government regulated accommodation contracts including RAD/RACs, DAP/DACs BDCF, MTCF and the implications of residents changing financial assessments.You are a collaborative team player who communicates with colleagues and empathy and compassion for residents and families too.An enquiring mind and aged care
Accounts Receivable experience is essential to be able to follow through on enquiries and abnormalities, resolving queries and adding value while continuously improving services.To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
Skills and competencies:- Relevant qualification and experience working in Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Experience working in the Residential Aged Care industry with end-to-end Accounts Receivable
- A good level of computer system skills, Excel and a Finance System.
- Teamwork and collaboration with colleagues
- Ability to provide high level customer service and building strong working relationships
- Ability to continuously improve services
- Friendly and positive personality
