The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice, education and support to CatholicCare’s Services and staff within Seniors, NDIS, and Out of Home Care. You will provide clinical support, training and supervision to staff delivering clinical management plans to clients and contribute to the development of those plans.
This is a Maternity Leave for 3 to 5 days per week role, travel between SIL homes is required.
Nurse Award Level 3, above award rate by negotiation for the right candidate
Duties
- Providing training for our employees to ensure a high level of clinical practice, in areas such as medication management, tube feeding, epilepsy care.
- Being able to answer questions raised by staff.
- Completing assessments of our participants, such as annual health reviews.
- Dynamic hands-on role, working with our participants and employees to deliver high quality clinical care.
- Degree level qualifications in Nursing.
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience in delivering clinical training to frontline employees.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Access to an insured vehicle.
- Knowledge of the Disability Service Standards
- Previous experience in direct service delivery or direct care
- Experience providing clinical care in a community setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and abilities.
