About the Role
Making Lives Better® is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
We provide around-the-clock care, so we need nursing visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or even overnight; to meet our client's needs.
While weekday work is always available, we are particualrly interested in candidates who are available and commited to regularly working weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
- Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly .
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
- Conduct Nursing Assessments (e.g. wound management, continenance products)
Skills & Experience
Community nursing experience would be highly desireable.
Depending on the specific needs of your clients, you will be required to apply your knowledge, clinical judgement and/ or practical experience in a variety of areas including for example:
- Catheter Care (e.g. IDC, SPC)
- Complex Wound Care and Management
- Bowel Care and/ or Continence Management
- Medication Management
- Diabetes Management
- Spinal Care Management
- Care Plan Management

Mandatory Requirements
- AHPRA Registration (current)
- CPR & First Aid Certification (current)
- Your own vehicle & current drivers license (no restrictions)
- National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
- NDIS Worker Screening Approval (QLD 'Yellow Card')
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- Working with Children Check (QLD ‘Blue Card’)
