Job description:
We have a unique opportunity to join Stockland Halcyon Communities Operations team in this newly created role as Community Operations Advisor. This is a national role and can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney but will require flexibility to travel between the other locations as needed.
About the Role
Reporting into the National Operations Manager, Halcyon Communities, this role will be pivotal in being the voice and subject matter expert to Community Operations in all design and delivery decisions that flow through to the day-to-day operations of a functional community.
The Community Operations Design Advisor is a critical role within the Community Operations team, and as the SME, you'll be responsible for providing effective and consistent engagement, leadership and decision-making on design and delivery processes across Halcyon's pipeline projects, ultimately creating a centre of excellence.
The role will be fully immersed from the outset of projects commencing, working across a wide range of stakeholders including working intimately with the Project Delivery team, and focussing on protecting the integrity of the community's recurring income streams while balancing overall homeowners' ‘lived" experience.
About you
A strong communicator, you have a natural ability to successfully drive a vision through to reality, a successful track record of influencing, problem solving and people and stakeholder management, working cross functionally and being the interface across a wide range of stakeholders. You possess the skills to drive the best outcomes for the Community Operations team, the Stockland Halcyon business, and homeowners, you also bring;
- Development, construction, or project management background with experience such as in delivering large recreational facilities or seniors living development projects from initial acquisition/design stages through to delivery/handover
- Manufactured homes/land lease communities experience would be highly advantageous
- Understanding of local government and council regulations in relation to property and construction
- Knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory and regulatory frameworks in relation to manufactured/residential homes will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of asset management, and customer-centric design methodologies
- High level of financial and commercial business acumen as well as experience managing operating and capital budgets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow frameworks/processes
- Ability to multi-task seamlessly and work across multiple projects at different stages of their development lifecycle
