About the position

SecondBite have an exciting opportunity for a Community Partnerships Officer to join our team in NSW in our Penrith warehouse.

You will be at the front of our interaction with our Charity Partners who provide food programs to help people in need in their community. You will utilise your exceptional relationship management and communication skills to connect charity partners to local food donors. I can’t hide that there is administration work as part of this role, however, you will also be out and about visiting both charity partners and Coles stores.

This full-time position is based at our Penrith Warehouse, with access to generous not-for-profit salary packaging and a great team environment. If you maximise the salary packaging available, you could have a potential benefit of $6,400 per year (to achieve the same benefit without salary packaging you would need a gross salary of $84,771).

About the person:

The successful applicant will have:

• A current drivers licence
• Strong relationship management skills
• Experience in customer service, sales, community sector or retail preferred
• Skills in handing challenging situations in a constructive manner
• Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
• Resilience
• The ability to be proactive, work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to achieve results in a timely and accurate manner
• The ability to prioritise and multitask to active results
• The ability to solve problems and maximise outcomes
