The Senior Recruitment Consultant plays a pivotal role in our organisation, responsible for developing client partnerships and providing leadership to the coordinators. The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the productivity and profitability of the business by delivering tailored recruitment services that meet the needs of both clients and candidates within specified sectors or clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic relationships with business partners and stakeholders to achieve individual and business goals.
- Collaborate with the debtor’s team to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on revenue pipeline.
- Cross-sell other specialist services/areas of Chandler Macleod to customers and follow up on generated leads.
- Present registered and high-calibre candidates to generate additional revenue.
- Ensure temporary candidates understand and commit to Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities.
- Liaise with clients to ensure compliance with CM Risk Management and OHS legislation.
- Comply with all relevant CM and external OHS requirements.
- Complete all steps in the Culture Amp online planning and review cycle.
- Utilise sales techniques to build customer relationships and win profitable business.
- Attract and source candidates through various channels including media advertising, networking, headhunting, and referrals.
- Select candidates through comprehensive screening, interviewing, and assessing processes.
- Maintain ongoing contact with candidates throughout the recruitment/assignment process.
- Manage the job offer process, negotiate salary packages, and finalize arrangements between client and candidates.
- Undertake regular reviews and surveys to identify potential issues and develop new opportunities.
- Manage the selection process from job brief to offer, ensuring open lines of communication are maintained throughout.
- Utilise effective database management to accurately record all client and candidate activities.
- Sound experience in recruitment or direct sales within a target-driven environment.
- Ability to listen to client needs, provide solutions, and execute service-oriented strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Intermediate organizational and administrative skills coupled with computer literacy and database management.
- Operate in line with Chandler Macleod Core Principles and Company Policies and Procedures.
