We are currently looking for a Part Time Community Services Support Worker to work with our team based in Orange. Ideally working Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm, but flexibility around hours for the right candidate. This a contract position until 30th June 2025.
The Support Worker is responsible for delivering best practice support services to people at risk of and experiencing homelessness and/or domestic violence. You will work in both our main Orange office and at the Orange Orchard.
To be successful, you will ideally have some experience in the Community Services sector, or be undertaking studies in the area, but this is not essential.
You will also need to be sensitive to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, high organised with strong administration and computer skills. The ability to work independently on your own is essential.
You will need a current Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.

The Support Worker is classified as a Level 3.1 under the SCHADS Award, which equates to $71,328 gross per annum (full time equivalent). This will increase on an annual basis in line with the pay points in the Award.
