Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) is a new provider of Community Care Services in NSW. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored care to enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families. Our ultimate goal is to support clients to remain at home and engaged in their local community.Newly created casual roles are on offer for Community Support Assistants to assist clients to enjoy fulfilling and engaged lives beyond a diagnosis or health conditions. The CSA supports the clients in every aspect to stay socially active, pursue hobbies and continue to lead valued lives. Additionally, with reablement and wellness approaches clients are supported with their personal care tasks and domestic activities. We aim to make real change to a person's life and make growing old a positive experience for all Australian's, through our healthy ageing initiatives.The RoleWe are looking for Experienced Community Support assistants based in Queanbeyan and surrounding suburbs NSW. We are looking for candidates with the confidence and ability to work autonomously and travel to client's homes in and around their local community. The role will include social support and participation of lifestyle recreational activities including outings. You must have a willingness to be rostered to support client services across Monday to Friday during the day. There also may be weekend work if you would like to work on weekends.
