Kensey Care is a local home and Community Support provider. As a registered NDIS provider we support people in the Echuca Region who are living with a disability and/or ageing.
This is an excellent opportunity for Qualified Support Workers or students who are studying health related courses at TAFE or University.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Our Community Support Worker’s assist clients to remain living independently in their own home and community. No day is ever time same! Some of the tasks you will be providing:
- Provide assistance with self-care including showering, dressing
- Provide assistance to access the community (example: appointments & grocery shopping)
- Assist with skill development, prompting and motivation
- Domestic Assistance
Qualifications & Experience:
Please read the below requirements before applying for this position.
- Hold a minimum Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support, Cert IV in , Disability Support or currently enrolled in year University Study or TAFE in either Nursing or Allied Health.
- MUST have current COVID Vaccine and flu shot- Proof from Medicare required.
- Hold a current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR or prepared to obtain
- Have a recent and clear (3 month) National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to apply
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to apply
- Must have a roadworthy vehicle, Australian Drivers Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Own a mobile smart phone.
