Community Support Worker

Who we are:

Pennine Community Supports is a family run service providing care and assistance within the community. We support a range of activities so our clients can continue to live independently in their homes and be active members within their community.  Our clients are based throughout Sydney including Inner West, Bankstown, Canterbury, and Penrith areas.  We are growing so adding new areas regularly. 

Not only will you support their day-to-day activities (taking them to medical appointments, shopping, the park, lunch, see friends etc) you will be pivotal in ensuring they are living their life to maximum potential. These roles are critical to our client’s overall wellbeing including mental health and physical health. You will be part of something special; it's not every day you can say you made someone's day. 

We are growing and looking for Support Workers who have recent experience in a one on one support role within the community. You are compassionate, motivated and caring, and also have an understanding of how to handle escalating behaviours.

You will have your NDIS Worker Screening Check and Certificate III or IV, an unrestricted NSW drivers license and ideally a car. 

Ideally you will have availability for at least 20 hours per week, with the capacity to increase the hours as you become familiar with our clients.  We are looking for someone who is keen to have one employer, once we find your perfect mix of hours and clients.
