THE ROLE
The Community Support Worker provides centre-based social support and in home care services to aged individuals who require support to live independently, and their carers.
Deliver care and support for clients, in line with Care Plans, including but not limited to respite, dressing and undressing, grooming, toileting
Actively support and promote client wellness and reablement goals
Support carers by providing meaningful and enjoyable experiences to a client, that meet the needs of the client as documented in the Care Plan
Salary will be in the range of $65,549.77 to $71,520.24 pro rata per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we're looking for an Community Support Worker who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual support or Aged Care or equivalent
- Experience/training in working with/assisting older people, people with disabilities and/or dementia demonstrating sensitivity to the needs of people from different economic and diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Current Victorian Driver's License and an ability to drive a mini bus
- Experience in developing, organising, facilitating and evaluating inclusive community, recreation and leisure activities
- Hold a valid food handling certificate of willingness to obtain one within the first few month of employment
