SpudBAR is an Australian owned and operated franchise that currently has 23 stores around Australia. With a renewed focus on growth this is an exciting time to join this small but dynamic business, who has its sights set on big things. Our head office is based in South Yarra and this role reports to the General Manager. The SpudBAR team currently consists of 4 and whilst we are all quite specialized in our roles, we pride ourselves helping one another out when we can. It's a bit cliché but it really does feel like a little family.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Degree qualification in accounting/finance.
- Previous experience with XERO is essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for stores and head office, includes pay roll, bank reconciliations and intercompany recharging.
- Weekly calculation and invoicing of royalties payable.
- Preparation of month end journals.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of month ending reports to the board, which includes P&L budget v actual commentary, consolidation of entities, COGS and wages.
- Monthly BAS, Monthly Payroll Tax.
- Annual Workcover.
- Annual Budgets.
- Year-end liaising with external Accountant.
- Maintaining leasing and franchise information, agreements and reports.
