Hays Recruitment are delighted to be appointed by a rural business provider. We are seeking a diligent, experienced and efficient Corporate Accountant to work in a sole charge position reporting to the owners of the business.
Your new role
The Corporate Accountant oversees all accounting functions for the business. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management reports, half-yearly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations by completing income tax, BAS, and FBT returns. Additionally, the Corporate Accountant manages payroll services on a weekly basis and will manage accounts receivable, payable and journal entries.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced, qualified accountant who can handle a diverse workload across multiple entities. Attention to detail is crucial, and prior experience in a similar role or as a sole accountant is preferred. Familiarity with Australian Accounting Standards and practical application is essential. The position is based within a half-hour commute from Innisfail and/or Yungaburra.
