ABOUT THE COMPANY.
We are partnering with a privately owned residential property developer who are looking to hire a Company Accountant for the first time.
With over 30 years of proven success, the business currently has a portfolio of 40-50 residential apartment complexes and this number is looking to grow.
Reporting into the director of the business and working closely with an outsourced CFO, you will take ownership of the companies accounts, conducting monthly financial reporting & conducting daily accounting tasks.
The role would suit someone who has been working in professional services, looking to move into a company, who would have worked across similar industries
OR
Someone who has prior property, real estate or construction industry experience as an accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Monthly financial reporting and associated variance analysis
- Assist in cash flow management for the business
- Maintain integrity of financial transactions across multiple entities
- Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting for overheads
- Liaise with external accountants on tax related matters
- Handle internal payroll
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.
- CA/CPA Qualified or working towards
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently and in a fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting activities - journals, reconciliations etc.
- Experience in Xero/MYOB a big advantage
