About your role
This isn’t your typical Account Manager role!
We are looking for an Account Manager, ready to be responsible for the ownership and growth of 8 Private Label Key Accounts. This includes building business plans and P&L management.
Collaborating with a passionate team, this position plays an active role both internally and externally for your customers, focused on offering exceptional customer service.
In this role you will have an opportunity to influence and make an impact! You'll have a chance to help develop new products for your customers and work as a Pack with the National Business Manager and various cross functional teams including Marketing & Brand, Category, R&D, Supply & eCommerce to execute new ideas.
What you'll do
- Account Manage selected clients with a clear growth roadmap leveraging our current and NPD range in line with their planning cycles
- Management of sales and profitability performance of your key account ensuring all key targets are met
- Manage customer administration requirements including claim management & processing using our software Blueshift
- Lead forecasting and spend management including sales analysis tools such as PowerBI or IRI
- Support New Product Presentations/ Submissions Quarterly Business Reviews
What will help you succeed
- Great organisation skills - being able to priorities and manage up to 8 smaller clients
- Excellent communication and demonstrated problem-solving capability
- Financial acumen to understand forecast and budget as context for managing performance
- An entrepreneurial approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity with an appetite to grow and develop in a fast-growing organisation
- Experience within Pet Specialty or Animal Health Industry is highly regarded
- Knowledge and exposure to FMCG industries preferred but not required
- Project management skills would be highly regarded
