About The Role
Opportunity for a Compliance Lead to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation e.g. NDIS and NSDS (National Standards for Disability Services) and ensure readiness for external audits. The role will include leading the organisation to meet and maintain the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission, Department of Social Services (DSS) and other mandatory registration obligations values.
The role is responsible for:
- Ensuring Scope meets all accreditation standards and successfully navigates external compliance audits.
- Preparing Scope for external audits against relevant standards by engaging with external auditors and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Undertake/coordinate a program of self-assessments against relevant Standards e.g., NSDS, NDIS Practice Standards, HACCP.
- Supporting operations to deliver continuous improvement plans that drive outcomes for an outstanding customer experience.
About You
- Experience in a compliance role with an understanding of quality management systems, compliance principles, quality frameworks, internal auditing practice and the ability to coordinate corrective action plans.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Practice Standards and National Disability Service Standards
- Sound understanding of the legislation and regulatory environment for disability support services.
- Experience in community and/or NFP organisations would be highly regarded.
