You bring to this role significant technical knowledge and experience in understanding and interpreting legal and regulatory requirements and regulatory change. You'll likely have at least five years' experience in operational risk, compliance, legal or internal audit, and an understanding of financial services regulations and knowledge of current compliance trends and topical issues within the financial services industry is an advantage.
You are a confident and skilled communicator, able to influence while maintain the strong and trusted relationships with both stakeholders and regulators that you have built. Your ability to work across different initiatives and effectively manage expectations of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment will ensure your success.
As a Compliance Manager you'll get to:
- Be responsible for the oversight and setting of minimum standards for the end-to-end compliance lifecycle including management and reporting of compliance breaches, compliance monitoring, compliance plans, regulatory change and regulatory requests.
- Provide constructive challenge to the business in the development of appropriate treatment and remediation plans.
- Implement and contribute to the evolution of the Group's Compliance Framework and actively contribute to the Group Regulatory Compliance Strategy in transforming compliance processes and practices.
- Contribute and work at both a strategic and operational level.
This is a full-time, permanent position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, including a hybrid model with a minimum of two days per week based out of one of our Corporate Offices across the country.
