Role overview:
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team and deliver this crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant regulations and standards set forth by the NHVR. This role involves monitoring and managing compliance with heavy vehicle regulations, implementing, and maintaining systems to track compliance, and working closely with internal teams to address any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with NHVR regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure that the organization complies with all applicable NHVR requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance levels.
- Ensure that telematics systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in telematics technology.
- Maintain accurate records of all compliance-related activities.
- Prepare and submit required reports to NHVR in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance documentation.
- Provide training to relevant personnel on NHVR regulations and compliance requirements.
- Raise awareness within the organization about the importance of compliance
- Investigate any reported incidents or non-compliance issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop corrective action plans..

Requirements:
- Knowledge of NHVR regulations and heavy vehicle compliance standards.
- Previous experience in a compliance-related role is preferred.
