About the Roles
The Compliance Branch is seeking to fill the following roles:
- APS Level 4 Compliance Officer (Preliminary Assessment Team)
- APS Level 5 Investigator (Compliance and Enforcement)
As an APS Level 4 Compliance Officer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for recording, triaging, and assessing allegations of non-compliance in the schemes the agency administers, in line with agency KPIs. You will also assist in the preliminary assessment of referrals to determine whether suspected breaches of agency administered legislation or other relevant Commonwealth and State legislation has likely occurred.
As an APS Level 5 Investigator, you will conduct or provide support to multiple routine investigations into suspected breaches of the law and aid Senior Investigators on more complex matters. You will also be responsible in preparing and presenting briefs of evidence for criminal and civil proceedings, and reports for administrative actions under guidance and within agreed timeframes.
Both positions play a vital role in supporting the Compliance Branch in providing specialist services to stakeholders.
