The Compliance & Process Engineer will take the lead in driving efficiencies that will enhance manufacturing capabilities to allow the business to deliver on its broader engineering services objectives.
Collaborative and pro-active in your approach you will help drive and embed a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring a successful transfer of processes from R&D engineering to commercial operations. You will support product quality and processes, help lead manufacturing failure investigations to determine root cause, implementing framework and timely corrective actions.
With safety at the forefront, you will support and take responsibility for;
- Maintaining and enhancing a strong quality and compliance framework
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of changes to processes
- Effective process scope preparation and technical support for EV/Battery services
- Engaging the production teams and maintaining effective working relationships to champion change and drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with Industry regulations and quality standards
- Defining investigational strategy
- Analyse and report on processes and quality for continuous improvement.
- Implement, maintain and support accreditation, audits, and staff training on organizational policies and updates to manufacturing processes & compliance framework

About You
A self-starter, who is process driven you will enjoy the strong sense of ownership and seeing the direct impact of your work. You will relish the opportunity to showcase your technical/manufacturing expertise, providing the business with advice, leadership and accountability that will enhance its success and grow your skills in a sustainable and innovative business.
Ideally you will also have;
- 2-3 years Engineering experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing)
- Critical thinking coupled with understanding of Six Sigma principles and applications
- Background in manufacturing ideally within EV Battery and/or automotive industries
- Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings
- Ability to interact effectively with peers within and outside the immediate team, to implement business improvement requirements
- Sound understanding of Quality practices and Safety regulations
- Ability to develop standards and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
