We are looking for a friendly and professional Concierge / Facilities coordinator to act as first point of contact for all visitors to our beautiful Brisbane Office, QLD. This is an initial 3 month contract opportunity with a view to become permanent.
This role allows you to utilise your strong interpersonal and organisational skills as a key member of our Facilities Management team.
You will maintain a high standard of administration and customer service to ensure the smooth running of the reception and meeting rooms and ensure a positive first impression to Avant members, visitors and employees.
The role's duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring all guests have signed in and are accommodated prior to meetings
- Process and issue secure ID and access passes to members, visitors, and employees in line with security policy
- Collection and distribution of mail
- Booking and receiving couriers and deliveries
- Maintaining the professional presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms
- Actively responding to necessary tasks to support the Facilities Management team
- Occasionally assist with telephone enquiries
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service, Reception or Concierge role
- Good time management and the ability to multitask
- Superb communication and written skills
- Be professionally presented, mature and highly organised
- The ability to work autonomously and learn new technology skills
- Word and Excel skills
- A positive and friendly disposition
