Concrete Agi-Truck / Heavy Combination Driver

Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team to assist as an AGI-Truck Driver. We are looking for someone who can also assist as a Heavy Combination Truck driver both on and off site when not driving driving an AGI-Truck.

The duties include.

• AGI-Truck driving / Material Placement
• Transport of Plant & Equipment within Project Sites
• Transport of Plant & Equipment between Project Sites
• Operating / Loading / Unloading Plant & Equipment onto Trucks
• Working with Site Mechanics to assist in Plant & Equipment Maintenance
• Understanding and adherence to National Heavy Haulage Standards and Requirements.
• Maintain accurate Plant & Equipment records
• Assistance in other site activities where required.

The role will also work within proximity to machinery which include trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and piling machines.

Key Accountabilities

To develop personally, and be a role-model within the company, working to create a culture that promotes safety, accountability, and quality.

To Actively participate in collaborative meetings including: pre-starts, toolbox feedback, group safety and site management meetings

Skills & Competencies

The position will require the candidate to have the following skills and competencies.

• Hold a Current Australian HC/ MC Licence
• Ability to Drive a Non Synchronised Gearbox
• Construction Industry White Card
• Have a Minimum of 1-2 Years Heavy Vehicle Driving Experience
• Great Driving Record
• Understanding of Basic Fatigue Management and Mass Management Guidelines
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge
• Neat and Tidy Personal Appearance
• Take Pride in Vehicle Appearance
• Physically Fit to Perform physical work
• Loading & Unloading of Trucks and Equipment / Machinery
• A Professional Work Ethic with a Wiling and Helpful Attitude
• Fork Lift Ticket Preferred but not Essential
• Ability to work Extended hours when required

Key Expectations

Our projects are generally remote and regional projects and the successful applicant must be able to work on a Roster. Roster is negotiable dependant on applicant requirements. Typically our teams work either 3/1 or 10/4 rosters.

Construction Safety Card (White Card)
