The Traineeship
Certificate III in Concreting
Statewide Apprenticeships seek a trainee to join our team working in the Adelaide Metro and surrounding areas.
The position is a 2-year full-time traineeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.
Duties may include:
- Mix and pour concrete.
- Concrete workers must be experts in the composition of concrete.
- Spread concrete.
- Concrete workers need a good eye and strong attention to detail.
- Shape concrete with wood or plastic forms
- Not all jobs are perfect rectangles.
- Monitor the drying process.
About you:
- Have a genuine passion for the job.
- Be committed to undertaking a 24-month traineeship.
- Possess a driver’s licence.
- Must be willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing.
- Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
- Be physically fit.
- Be willing to obtain a white card before or during at your own expense if required.
