We seek an enthusiastic Teacher of French to join our Languages Department 0.64 FTE in term 3 and provide long service leave cover. The position will teach French as a second language to years 7,8,9 and 11 and manage a year 9 Mentor group.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and TRBWA registration
- Previous teaching experience in French
- Demonstrated familiarity with best practice pedagogy
- Dedication to the advancement of each student's holistic development
- Sound knowledge of the Western Australian curriculum and a comprehensive understanding of current educational issues
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as a team member, as well as independently
- Excellent organisation, time and prioritisation skills
- A commitment to and understanding of girls' education in an all girls’ environment
